What would happen if the designer followed your suggestions to break the principle rules and after 2-3 months you realise that you cannot live your life within the interior anymore and you have to immediately change the colours on your walls once again. The colour chosen might be a favourite but it also they might influence the space in the wrong direction or make it optically smaller or depressing or even dangerous for your health.

Because of this all colours and shades are classified in a colour palette with attributed numbers to each colour to help to choose the same tone of colour by the number every time you need to do so. The best known and professional colour palette is pantone,
there are also other palettes, treasure by dyeing and cosmetic industry, but they might be slightly different from the pantone model the other palette’s compliment and describe products of the company they come from, so if you select the colour from them it might not be the same hue as pantone. In that case you should not to mix the colours from different companies to avoid buying tones and hues that do not work well together.

This is the colour for courage, strength and pioneering spirit. Red stimulates the brain, raising the heart rate and blood pressure, and stimulates the appetite, sex and passion. It is also the colour of anger and violence. As an aggressive colour, red can make you feel very restless. It is good for any room where you want to stimulate activity but be careful of the choice of tone, depth, and the space where it will be used. Avoid red if intending to use for the space for rest or relaxation. Red is very flattering on the complexion - so it is good for rooms you want to socialise in. It is helpful for getting over tiredness and lethargy and to boost sluggish circulation. It can make a space look smaller and can be claustrophobic or oppressive. Used well, red can make a space feel warm and cosy.
